Wetlands are important environments that provide critical ecological benefits to both the natural world and humans. These benefits include improving water quality, flood control, inhibiting shoreline erosion, and providing fish and wildlife habitat, just to name a few.

Projects that require impacts to federal and state regulated wetlands will also require permitting to move forward. At COVA Environmental we will work on your behalf to obtain the required permits for your specific project.

The Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act (CBPA) was enacted to improve the water quality within the Chesapeake Bay through effective land management and land use planning.

If your project requires analysis of the presence of threatened or endangered species or their habitat, COVA Environmental can provide the necessary services for your project.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs or Phase I ESAs) are the standard in which properties are assessed to determine the current or historical environmental contamination liabilities occurring within the property’s soil or groundwater.
